Adiposity can be measured using BMI (which is based on weigh and hight) as well as indices of abdominal adiposity. in this study, the association between BMI and waist to hight ration (WHtR) within and across populations of different word regions is examined. In addition, how well these two metrics discriminate between people with and without hypertension is quantified.
